Stress – The no. 1 Killer


We are all prone to stress. It goes by several names - anxiety, worry, tension - whatever you call it, it is still the same.  Stress is the no. 1 killer.  It replaces your peace of mind and sleep with restlessness, sleepless nights, anxiety, psychosomatic disorders and poor health in general.

Stress Affects The Immune System
When there is no peace of mind and the subconscious mind is acting on the orders of negative thoughts, the immune system hits a ‘low.’  With the immune system at an all-time low, we are susceptible to catching disease.  These diseases could be as mild as an infectious disease such as cold or even life-threatening diseases such as heart disorders and cancer.  Acute stress is known to alter the lining of the stomach and give rise to acidity.

Stress Causes Accidents
But it is not just our health that is affected.  Stress is also known to cause accidents. People who are under a tremendous amount of pressure at home or at the workplace are known to become accident prone when under large amounts of stress.  An example of this would be the hurried housewife who is trying to get dinner ready and cuts her finger in the bargain.

Through meditation and relaxation, replace all  negative thoughts with positive thinking.  Reaffirm these positive thoughts several times a day.  When you send out positive vibrations into the universe, the universe will act in a positive manner on these vibrations and send back to you what is good.

This is easier said than done because life is not always so easily controlled by  us.  However, when faithfully practiced several times a day, positive thinking has the power to change everything!  In no time at all, you will find that no amount of stress can affect you.  You will be insulted against the no.1 killer for life!

Make Your Conscious Work For You (Part 2)



In the first part of this series, we took a look at how doubt, negative thinking and dwelling in the past are all counterproductive to the working of the subconscious mind in your favor.  We also discussed how they should be avoided at all cost.  In the second part of this series, we continue to look at some ‘don’ts’ that should be avoided to counteract the production of the subconscious mind.

Do Not Give Up

According to Law of Attraction, ‘what you give is what you get.’  In other words, if you send out positive vibrations into the universe, the universe will respond by giving you back positively, all the good things you ask for.  If, on the other hand, you send out negative vibrations, the universe will

respond likewise.  It seems surreal that one can ask for anything good from the universe and it will be given; but this is a fact of life; a principle that has been at work since time immemorial; a principle that has not changed and never will.

Having said that, it must be remembered that what you ask for may not be given to you immediately; it may take weeks, months and sometimes even years to happen.  The universe moves, changes and shifts events as they occur, in order to give you what you want.  The universe sends opportunities your way to enable your dreams to come true.  All this takes time.  Do not give up.

Be persistent and ask for what you want from the universe with immense faith and ardent fervor, trusting completely that it will be given to you at the right time.

Do Not Fret About Obstacles

Making your subconscious work for you takes time and concentration because years of negativity needs to be erased.  During this time, expect setbacks and delays in what you ask for.  There will be trying times when you will be ready to give up and tempted to lose hope.  You will perhaps even doubt yourself.

Give yourself time.  Be patient with yourself.  Do not give up.  Instead, use your consciousness to its peak – reaffirming positive affirmations of good health and prosperity, several times a day.  Squeeze out every bit of power from your conscious and use it all to ask for what you want; trusting completely in the power of your subconscious and the Law of Attraction, that together they will give to you what you ask for; expect and know that you will receive.  When you have done this and you are sure that you have used your conscious to its maximum, tell your subconscious to take over.  At this point, stop thinking about what you have asked for.  Do not fret or worry about obstacles that come in the way of your wants.  Do not let delays and difficulties bring in a flood of negativity – this will be counterproductive and work against you.

Once you have used your conscious to it’s maximum, let go completely, trusting that your subconscious will now take over and do the needful.
